Anal glands/ear plucking

I do not express anal glands or pluck internal ear hair, as both of these practices have proven to cause more harm than good. You will find an array of groomers who choose to perfrom both of these practices, but after reading multiple scientific-based evidence reports, we have learned both of these practices are outdated and can harm your dog's overall health. Extracting anal glands is not a practice dog should routinely need done unless your pet has a medical issue, allergies, or they cannot express them themselves after other groomers have done so. Ear plucking can lead to ear infections that are not present in your dog, and can cause extreme irritation. If your dog has current ear infections or issues with their glands, seek veteranarian assistance ASAP. Arrival

Please be on time to your appointment. Any arrivals later than 15 minutes past their appointment time will be asked to reschedule for a later date. If you arrive early, please remain in your car with your dog until your appointment time. DO NOT approach the front door and ring the doorbell - this presents a huge hazard to any dog on my table. Please park in the driveway and I will greet you in the driveway.

Pick Up

LATE FEES will be charged for pick ups later than 15 minutes past your given pick up time. Clients will receive a 15-20 minute text letting them know when their dog(s) will be ready. After 15 minutes past pick-up time, $10 will be charged per 15 minutes. Each groom can take anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours, depending on the coat condition/size. I will do my best to give you an estimated service time upon drop-off. Please stay in the local area to ensure you can pick up your pet when they're finished. Please wait in your car until you receive a text that your dog is finished. Do not ring the doorbell or knock until the session is complete.

No Shows

I understand emergencies happen. If you will be unable to make your appointment due to an emergency, please let me know ASAP before your appointment. If you no-show to your appointment, you will be required to pay 50% of your missed service before rescheduling your next appointment.

Client intake form

Each client must fill out the new client intake form to the best of their ability. Please be honest when filling it out so I can provide your pup the best service that fits their needs. If your dog has displayed aggression in the past, please be honest so I can ensure they're scheduled on a day that best suits their needs. A lack of honesty can result in a discontinuation of services.

There is also a section that discusses medical questions. Please list any known allergies or medical concerns your dog may have. Dogs that have open wounds, pregnant, or just gave birth are ineligible for grooming services until treated by a vet and or released by a vet for grooming.

All owners must show proof of current rabies vaccine. No exceptions.
